Medical Clinic - Design/Build
Design/Build in Tejalpa, Morelos, Mexico 1998
Family Health Center for Tejalpa, Mexico: Organized and built in collaboration with womens groups in the area, the new community health center in Tejalpa the clinic facilities provide much-needed traditional and modern medical assistance to families in the informal settlements. Design and construction of the clinic by graduate and undergraduate students from the departments of Architecture, Construction Management and Landscape Architecture took place in Winter 1998 and 1999, and operation of the clinic includes the collaboration of students and faculty from the UW schools of medicine and public health.
Design/build was led by Sergio Palleroni & Steve Badanes.
