[re]design has selected Lynn Kingelin’s Shredded Paper Recycling Bin design for their shipping container exhibition promoting ‘good & gorgeous’ sustainable design from UK designers. CONTAINS is part of the annual Newcastle 2007 Design Event and Dotto07.

• Climate Cool by Design’ Exhibition - British Council China

The British Council China programme has selected Lynn Kingelin’s Shredded Paper Recycling Bin design for their upcoming exhibition. The exhibition is part of a 2 year British Council China programme, called CLIMATE COOL BY DESIGN that sets out to educate people about climate change and sustainable consumption. [re]design are curating the show, categorising the designs by 9 Climate Cool Actions. There will be 60 UK designs on display – fashion, furniture, lighting, products – that together, demonstrate UK leadership in sustainable design and encourage more sustainable lifestyles. CLIMATE COOL BY DESIGN tours Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing from Nov 2007 to Feb 2008.

Lynn Kingelin’s Fire Jacks (gas fire accoutrements) will exhibited by Designer’s Block this fall.

Exclusively licensed to Verine. Fire Jacks will be launched the design in 1000 fireplace shops in the UK & Europe in August 2007.

• DEEP SOUTH DELVE - July 2007
Lynn Kingelin will be delving through the Deep South of the United States in July, listening to blues, jazz, soul and rock ‘n roll music guided by the rich fabric of life and culture along the Mississippi Delta in a cultural design journey. The trip will be photographed, filmed and documented in a series of articles.
